Day of Young Scientists

What is the Day of Young Scientis?

"Nach unserer Überzeugung gibt es kein größeres und wirksameres Mittel zu wechselseitiger Bildung als das Zusammenarbeiten." - "We believe there is no greater and more effective means of mutual education than working together."

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

The Day of Young Scientists aims at the interdisciplinary networking of all young scientists. In a relaxed atmosphere, we wish for an exchange across the classical disciplines, good conversations and discussions, to look at our own research projects from a different perspective, to find new solutions or even impulses and inspirations for completely new (joint) project ideas.

The next day of young scientists will take place 22/7/2021, 2pm - 5pm. Registration can be done via graduiertenakademie@tu-clausthal.de.

The Day of Young Scientis 22/7/2021

THE networking event
for all doctoral students at Clausthal University of Technology.

Also in this summer semester we would like to invite all PhD students, postdocs and other interested people to the Young Scientists' Day.

The Young Scientists' Day serves as a networking event for all young scientists at Clausthal University of Technology. Due to the pandemic, it will take place online this year. However, this does not prevent us from serving you a rich offer of information and workshops around the topic how to perform a PhD!

This year, we are organizing a virtual program, which will be a colorful mixture of workshops and lectures, just like in the last years, and of course we want to encourage you to actively participate.

Highlight of the day will be the poster session, where you can talk to old hands about their experiences on their way to PhD and find inspiration for your own project. Once again this year there will be attractive prizes to be won for the best posters.

We cordially invite you to share your experiences as a scientist with your peers at the poster presentation and to talk about nice moments, but also challenges and solution strategies together.

Among the posters we will award vouchers of the bookstore Grosse of 75, 50 and 25€ each.

WHEN: 22.7.2021, starting at 2 p.m.

WHERE: virtually via BBB, the video conference link will be provided after registration via graduiertenakademie@tu-clausthal.de.
