Graduate Regulars' und Career Developement

Doctoral students and postdocs are invited to the Graduate Regulars' (German: Graduierten-Stammtisch) of the Graduate Academy and the Association of Doctoral Students.

We would like to establish a format in which it is possible to get to know and exchange ideas on doctoral and junior researcher topics in an informal way across institutes and faculties.

At the same time, we want to take advantage for career development opportunities. At some regulars' there is an input from an external person from industry, other scientific institutions or society who will report from his/her career life. In particular, this includes hints and experiences of one's own career path that cannot be read from CVs, possible detours or opportunities that have arisen spontaneously, skills and competences that were indispensable for one's own career but were not acquired directly while working on the doctoral project. Recommendations, advice etc. may be given or new contacts may be established.

Due to the measures taken to avoid the spread of the corona virus, there were no graduate regulars  in the summer semester 2020.
