Since the summer of 2016, the association of doctoral students at Clausthal University of Technology have been able to elect their own representatives. The Senate of Clausthal University of Technology approved the corresponding rules for the election on July 12, 2016.

The association of doctoral students (Promovierendenvertretung (ProV) is made up of three members and their deputies from each of the three faculties and would like to play an active role in representing the interests of doctoral students in the university committees. It also delegates its members to the Graduate Academy Council.
